2017 Annual Fundraiser Dinner – September 14 at 6:30pm

The Great Basin Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association is excited to extend an invitation for this year’s A&WMA Great Basin Chapter’s Annual Fundraiser Dinner. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Scott Collingwood, Director of Environmental Monitoring, Research Assistant Professor and Investigator in the University of Utah’s School of Medicine. He will be presenting on “Understanding the role of environmental exposure and health outcomes – NCS, UCP & ECHO”.

Who: A&WMA members and friends

Where: Primo Restaurant located at 4699 S Highland Drive in Holladay

When: September 14, 2017 at 6:30 pm

Cost:          Members (and up to one guest) – $40 per person

Young Professional Members (and up to one guest) – $30 per person

Students – $15 per person

Non-members – $50 per person

Other: Free parking is available at the venue.  Depending on the weather, a portion of the dinner may be outside.  Sunglasses and a light jacket are recommended.

Webinar on the Trump Administration and GHG Policy and Regulation – August 23rd at 11:00am

The Great Basin Chapter will be hosting a recording of  the webinar “The Trump Administration and Greenhouse Gas Policy and Regulation” jointly sponsored by the American Bar Association and the Air & Waste Management Association. The webinar will examine the latest developments coming from the Administration regarding executive orders, rulemakings, Congressional Review Act repeals, policy, and litigation regarding greenhouse gas policy and regulation.

 

Who: All A&WMA members, family, friends, colleagues, and students

Where: Utah Department of Environmental Quality – 195 North 1950 West, SLC, UT – Four Corners Conference Room (4th floor)

When: Wednesday, August 23, 2017 – Room will open at 11:00am with a light lunch provided.  Presentation from 11:30am to 1:00pm.

Cost: Free! There is free parking and TRAX runs right to the Department of Environmental Quality!
